A friend......

(A)ccepts you as you are

(B)elieves in "you"

(C)alls you just to say "Hi"

(D)oesn’t give up on you

(E)nvisions the whole of you (Even the unfinished parts)

(F)orgives your mistakes

(G)ives unconditionally

(H)elps you

(I)nvites you over

(J)ust "be" with you

(K)eeps you close at heart

(L)oves you for who you are

(M)akes a difference in your life

(N)ever judges

(O)ffers support

(P)icks you up

(Q)uiets your fears

(R)aises your spirits

(S)ays nice things about you

(T)ells you the truth when you need to hear it

(U)understands you

(V)alues you

(W)alks beside you

(X)-plain things you don’t understand

(Y)ells when you won’t listen and

(Z)aps you back to reality

      Yes, it is quality of a friend that’s why Jesus said in John 15:14-15 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you."

     And also He said in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

    Yes, my friend, Jesus did every thing for us. Bible says in Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.." He died on the cruel cross and shed His precious blood to save us from our sins. Today His forgiveness is available for us.

    Second thing we see He wants to be our friend and wants to be with us always. When Jesus was about to crucified He said to His disciples, "John 14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me." John 14:18 and John 14:16 "I will not leave you orphans........",   "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever."

        And we see in Acts Chapter 2 that on the day of Pentecost He sent His holy spirit and filled them.

       John 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

      Yes, my friend, When holy spirit comes in our life, it comforts us, it consoles us, it guides us in all truth and it gives counsel to us and it will show us what is going to happen next in our life.

      Today, Jesus wants to be your friend will you take Him as your friend? He is ready to come into your life and wash you from all your sins, He is ready to wipe away all your tears, He is ready to comfort you, console you and give you guidance.

      Till today if you haven’t taken His as your friend, as your Lord and savior in your life, today is the time.

      Give your heart to Jesus. If you want to take a decision for Christ please pray this prayer with me....

      Loving heavenly father, I walked in my own ways, I did all kinds of wrong things, please forgive me, please wash me with your precious blood and come into my heart, Please forgive and forget all my sins and give me a clean life. And be my friend, be always with me. fill me with your holy spirit and give me your comfort, give me your counsel so that I can walk in your holy ways. Thank you Jesus for doing this for me. We pray in Jesus name. Amen
